That's do beautiful and sad. Wow... I've heard sad songs but this is something else.

I like to mess around with ambient effects. I applied all sorts of reverb and distortion, and when I was done I recorded the entire thing playing out of my speakers with my mic, applied a ton of reverb to that, and layered it with the original song. (and added some unedited background noise of my computer room at the end for an extra immersive ending.
Sorry to go on so much lol, I did find making this to be an interesting process though. Wanted to really capture the bittersweet uncanny feeling of all this.
Ooh thats a very cool beat. Nice progression and angry sound. Weird transition after the first beat, does give a 'just kidding' feel though, kind of funny
Epic bass, feel and beat. I like it but it kind of gets boring halfway through.
The last third is funny though with the weird key change.
😃😃😃 if its boring, i promise..
TURN UP THE VOLUME <-

I love the feel of this! awesome relaxing beat.
the same kind of idea as Eternal Winter I guess! that guitar is so good and the tunes it plays are beautiful.
really good! it does get boring, but barely.
perfect <3
omg this is actually really good. sounds so clean and smooth and funky. the chippy drums are a good touch. I love the simplicity of this even though it's awesome. I rarely give 5 stars but this is absolutely amazing!
I just found this in the 'you might also enjoy' box and I thought 'haha funny name let's see this rubbish song' and then I thought 'ooh it's by zanzlanz I've heard of them somewhere...' and then 'holy crap this is fire'
Hey thank you so much dude, I'm glad you like the feel-good song! It's almost surprising to me how well chiptune and even orchestral sounds mix together in electronic music like this, but I'm definitely happy that it does.
Also that's cool that you recognized my name haha - I wonder which other music you'd heard from me before in GD, or something!
I never used to like this song because it just sounded like a complete vomit of disgusting sounds (because that's what I thought it was meant to be). but listening to it again, I realise it's an actual song, and sounds really good! it acutally has emotion too! and that drop at 2;00 is epic.
it's so weird that I previously thought that this was supposed to sound horrible and not at all like actual music! it's really good! and it's also surprising that you still read all the comments.
Lol! I just read that this song is the "Rick Roll of GD", which kinda hurts my feelings...luckily I'm working on new music right now. Hence why I'm responsive. We'll see where this goes!
Thanks for your comments man!
very nice melodies indeed, and the progression is really good too. the 'tripping' piano which you used in n seoul tower as well sounds awesome.
It is quite repetitive, as someone else has pointed out, and the drop is disappointing to start with (it gets better, but is empty at the start of the drops). also I really don't like the weird vwum vwum sounds in the build up.

Thanks!
In case you're wondering, the 'tripping piano' effect is called 'sidechaining'(when the volume of your preferred instrument turns down then back up because the kick was played). :)
As I said in another reply, I also think now that the melody can get very repetitive sometimes.
I don't know how I can make the first part of the drop any more fuller. More bass? More supersaw? I don't see very much differentiation between the first part and the second part anyway apart from change of melody.
I agree with you, the riser doesn't sync with the rythmn and I should either use a new one or make my own. I'm just too lazy haha! Next time, I'll be sure to become a little more original. :D
Thank you for the feedback! I appreciate it.
whoa really weird, despite belonging to loads of genres it still sounds consistent. however none of this is my kind of stuff. sorry.
the end is good.
i might make some vgm soon :)
