Daily dose of WTF #1:
Geese Quack yet people mumble.
How can we let a goose be smarter?
is that a mellotron in the middle? i'm a huge fan of 70s mellotron-based prog rock so that's instant positive for me.
the bass drum is my only real complaint, and that's that its missing some important low frequencies. it feels like you're making up for the lack of bass in the bass drum by putting a sub-bass note in the same place, which isn't fooling anyone. and maybe add more of the high frequencies to the snare drum to add contrast.
I knew the drums were missing something but I couldn’t put my finger on the exact problem, thanks!
this is really good! i like the sharp synth that plays the chords; despite it being a "sharp" sound, it doesn't sound painful or abrupt. there's a perfect amount of sub-bass too.
only complaint is the clap sound is a bit cheap/simple, something more layered or maybe different claps at different points in the song could make it better
Thanks! The clap is bitcrushed beyond all recognition so that’s prolly why it sounds cheap, I def get what you mean tho
this is rreally good4
the first 5 star from John Smith Lazy
i love the suspence at the end, above all else :)
it feels kinda like dubstep at 0:55 due to that grimy bass, i like it
Tysm, yeah I really love 0:55 for no reason lol
shame there aren't any vocals because this is pretty cool
also there's the melody from dreams dont turn to dust at 1:50 which is funny
Hi! Popped on for the first time in a looong time to tell you that I threw a bunch of Owl City riffs from his other songs into this one as an homage :)
this is amazing dude, its crazy how far you've come music wise since Ch1pSt3p
i like the addition to the drums at 2:22 and the melody is insanely catchy, which is so difficult to achieve in 2023 what with most memorable melodies having been already thought of
tysm, that means a lot! :)
these melodies are your best and most aesthetically appealing yet, good job :)
i really like the piano towards the end, idk if you put reverb on it or something but it sounds that way
Thanks! Yeah, the piano has loads of reverb on it haha
my only complaint is how loud the clap is, i can’t hear much of the melody when it’s playing
the distorted lead at 1:06 is really cool
I guess the clap is pretty loud, I got so desensitized to it when I was making this that I didn’t even notice it lol
do you have the a capella for this
EDIT: LMAO
I can make it
are you gonna remix the looney
UPDATE: HECKYAH! He'll remix it, for just a buck! Isn't that deal just nuts? Holy cannolio, maan.
