this is such a sick fusion of two extremely different genres. i'm especially fond of the solo sections - the programming means they can reach much more epic heights than a typical improvised blues solo.

this ong is so goose

How can we let a goose be smarter?

this is really good i don't know why i had no idea this existed

is that a mellotron in the middle? i'm a huge fan of 70s mellotron-based prog rock so that's instant positive for me.
the bass drum is my only real complaint, and that's that its missing some important low frequencies. it feels like you're making up for the lack of bass in the bass drum by putting a sub-bass note in the same place, which isn't fooling anyone. and maybe add more of the high frequencies to the snare drum to add contrast.

BrainETR responds:

I knew the drums were missing something but I couldn’t put my finger on the exact problem, thanks!

another song i discovered from an old geometry dash daily level and randomly remembered today. amazingly produced and catchy

this is crazy, when i heard it on a twitch stream i didn't think it sounded like waterflame at all but it all made sense when i saw that it was. it's very progressive and i love the non-conventional harmonic percussion in some of the sections and the chatter samples integrated around it

this is insane, the ng audio portal doesn't get much of this kind of intense punk music.

i dont like the strings' chords but this is actually really good and possibly your best song

is 5 to 6 minutes seriously the maximum attention span of an average human in 2023?? this is heartbreaking..
the longer the better, imo. there's not enough hours in a day for me to listen and loop these kinds of songs
btw, those arpeggiators remind me of "some resolve" by royksopp.

i listened to the full snake pit album on spotify earlier this year and this track really stood out to me, it has a very focused atmosphere and smooth chords for studying or doing repetitive tasks
