i love this kind of thing. so eargasmic. I can see why people would not like this, but I LOVE IT.

I feel like I didn't like this the first time, but this isn't bad. really heavy and hard and somehow funny! WHAM!
only complaint is there isn't much emotion mostly. there is emotion, but only in two short places.
funny and cool
MDK?? I wasn't expecting that!
extremely cool! the melodies sound a bit simple but that's hardly a bad thing. the drop is so funky, and the beat's still there so it's actually good. the little breaks and pauses are really fun and uplifting.
A perfect mix of emotional but simple melodies, speed, fun drops and an arcade-y feel! Very cool vibe too!
Banger
love this deserty vibe! I wasn't expecting much when I started, but I liked the themed melodies and sounds.
then came the drop - I LAUGHED I found it so funny, a sudden change from upbeat desert music to a super heavy banger. epic bass.
very cool, you did a good job of catching that feel. I think the heavy part of the drop could be shorter though.
Haha I'm glad you liked the hook! I was wondering how the difference in intro would affect the audience listening to it - I mean, would people who enjoy EDM be dissuaded to listen until the drop, and would people who don't enjoy EDM be taken aback by the switch to something more intense? Even now I don't know the answer - I'd need more feedback, including from people who left without hearing it through, for me to even know. But for that reason I like that you commented on it from that perspective!
It's interesting because I definitely want to have the focus on the part I find most fun and head-bobbing, but there are some things to balance: I'd want it to be long enough to be satisfying, but short enough for it to be wanting to come back to it again without feeling fatigued by it on the first listen. This is where variation comes in; you can hear it progress as it goes, elements coming and going with each musical phrase.
I think naturally people who enjoy House or Trance music are going to be happy with very slow progression and variation, and those who are more familiar with Pop are looking for hooks that don't get stale quickly. It's all a balance, right?
Thanks again!
not bad... sounds a little strange sometimes
but the progression is very good.
some of the parts sound half finished or something :/ it bugs me a bit.
not too keen sorry :(
Since it's meant as unobtrusive background music to a video I guess that's not a bad thing! But I think I know what you mean about the hallow parts. I didn't do much of that especially back then
I've known this song for so long....
amazing. I love that beat and the coffe shop sounds, they make for a really cool feel. the melodies somewhere are super uplifting too.
the drops are so satisfying, when they start I don't feel like there's anything lacking. such an amazing and fun song... there's something about this which isn't in any other song. I'm not saying it's a PERFECT song, it just has a unique effect.
3:45 to the end is the best part.
I love the terraria music so much! this is so good, it has elements of it, but some original parts too. so much nostalgia as I used to listen to the terraria soundtracks all of the time!
second drop isn't that good in my opinion, it sounds slow and messy, but apart from that this is an awesome song!
i have never played terraria
Love it, one of my favourite songs from you! Very complex and fun drops, love them, also like the parts which are kind of uplifting.
0.49: this little bit here and elsewhere, and this section, is legendary, so eargasmic.
The other drop just before 2.15 is DIFFERENT, I like it!
2:15 love this transition to a short calm part!
Amazing
Amazing melodies and emotion in the 2 minutes before the drop. Really cool inquisitive feel as well.
Drop is not bad, the start is a bit messy but the rest is fun.
LOVE the emotion build up at 3:00
